  This car has never been back to the dealer. I do my own oil changes and inspections. Original battery, brakes. Just replaced tires two months ago. Everything works like new. Best cornering full sized car; like its on rails. Great sound system. Good leg room. Big trunk. Black. Dale Earnhardt car. 25 MPG on 80 MPH trips to Las Vegas.

  I bought this car new in 5/99, and have had NO problems with it at all. The only items Ive had to replace after 65000 miles are the tires, and the pads on the front disc brakes. This car is not a performance vehicle, but rather a reliable, comfortable car for every day travel or long distance trips.

  This car looks great, handles well, and was well constructed. I received a lot of compliments about its looks and smooth ride. Just keep the brakes well maintained.

  i bought this car a short will ago it has been great havent had to do anything to it exept for some new rims because the caps r ugly but other than that it has made it from colorado to massachusetts and california without any problems exept for gas!!

  This is a great car for those interested in something practical, economical, and safe. Ive had one small problem--the center console lids hinge snapped--in the nearly four years Ive owned it (knock on wood!). Sure, its not the most stylish car on the road, but theres something attractive about how everything is rounded; its not boxy like a lot of other similar cars. Its sturdy, comfortable, and ergonomic.

  I have owned two Montes, still driving my 1980 around. This 1999 is great I have done Trips to PG and down to Oregon from Vancouver sometimes driving a straight 12 hours never a problem Great engine great P/u and go, Very dependable. I have over 220,000 and still running strong very little maintenance, way to go Chevy!

  My Z34 - 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

  Ive had good luck with my Monte. Its fun to drive and looks sharp. I highly recommend the Z34 model over the plane jane LS. I have a noisy steering box, but under warranty they changed everything steering related and never were able to make the noise completely go away. That was 40,000 miles ago and it hasnt gotten any worse so I figure it must just be the way the cars are built.

  This has been my favorite car Ive ever owned. Its been reliable and fun to drive. Its good on gas and the body still looks great. Id buy another in a minute.
